Year 7 Field work

Our hearty Year 7 students have recently battled Antarctic blizzards to tackle their first experience of geography field work. The students ventured down to Gardiner’s Creek and were involved in a range of activities such as field sketching, testing pH levels of water samples, using nets to search for water life and looking at biodiversity on this important flood plain.

Having completed the field work the students are now required to apply their learning through a report outlining their findings.

Many thanks to Mr Hale, Mr Stokes, Mr Locke, Mr Buckley and Ms Graham for leading these field work expeditions.
