Parent Network News

Primary Parents Drinks

Whilst many parents showed great enthusiasm and interest, we have had to cancel this event based on the number of bookings.

Winter Luncheon

Our next event is the Winter Luncheon on Friday 19 June to be held at the Racecourse Hotel in Malvern East. Details including a link to book will be sent via email tomorrow.

Norhana Stipic is our guest speaker for this event and will speak about the challenges of being a woman working in a male dominated industry. At a young age Norhana moved with her parents from Canberra to Brunei, where she spent the majority of her school years. While at school Norhana was a very strong student and a talented athlete and basketballer but her main passion was swimming and she trained several times a week for many years.

After completing her secondary schooling at Jerudong International School, Brunei, Norhana returned to Melbourne by herself to study. She studied Exercise Science and Psychology at Victoria University and has just completed an MBA, majoring in Sports Management.

While studying at Victoria University, Norhana did work experience with the Western Bulldogs and the Williamstown Football Club where she eventually gained a full time position after finishing her double degree. Norhana left Williamstown Football club late last year to take up a position with Swimming Australia working as a Community Sport Coordinator.
