House Cross Country
Our annual House Cross Country Carnival was held at TH King Reserve and Gardner’s Creeks Reserve, Glen Iris on Wednesday 9 August. The conditions proved to be ideal as the beautiful winter afternoon was conducive to high participation rates across the college. Strong House enthusiasm combined with friendly rivalry between students created a great atmosphere as all competed for maximum House Points along the 3km track.
The race of the day was amongst our Year 8 competitors, where Sebastian Hadaway was just able to catch Max Nichols on the line in one final effort after a gruelling 3km duel. St Leo’s House took out the day, closely followed by St Mark’s, St Edwin’s and St Austin’s. There were many fine individual performances at the Carnival. We congratulate our winners below and thank all who participated.
