ACC Art and Design Exhibition at Federation Square
We invite you to attend the third biennial ACC Art and Technology Exhibition. The exhibition will run from 31 May to 4 June in The Atrium and Deakin Edge spaces at Federation Square. The opening night is 1 June at 7:00pm. Local Sporting Champions (LSC) Program
The Government’s Local Sporting Champions program provides financial assistance for young people aged between 12 and 18 years who are participating in sporting competitions at a state, national or international level. Successful applicants receive a $500 grant that can be used towards the cost of travel, accommodation, uniforms or equipment when competing, coaching or officiating at an official National Sporting Organisation (NSO) endorsed state, national or international sporting championship, or a School Sport Australia state, national or international championship. Eligible applications are assessed by a panel comprising of members from the local community and the panel’s recommendations are submitted for final approval by the Australian Sports Commission.

Worldwide Marriage Encounter Weekend

The workshop is based around Catholic values but couples of all faiths are welcome. The event will be attended by couples and a priest, and there will be no group sharing involved. There are two weekend workshops scheduled for 2017, the first will be held in July commencing at 7:00pm Friday 28 July and concluding at 5:00pm Sunday 30 July.
