College Welcome Mass — Thursday 5 March
Parents are asked to please arrive at the Cathedral no later than 6:00pm to ensure a prompt start to the Mass.
All 2020 College Leaders (Year 12 College Leaders, Holy Eucharist Captains, Tiverton Captains and Primary Captains), will also be commissioned into their respective roles and are required to be dressed in full winter uniform. All other new students to the College (those in Years 5 and 7), are required to be dressed in full summer uniform.

De La Salle House Swimming Carnival
The De La Salle House Swimming Carnival on Friday 6 March has been shortened and will now commence at 10:00am and conclude at 1:00pm.
This is a compulsory event for all Year 5 ‑12 students. Year 7 ‑12 Students are to make their own way to and from the venue. There are a number of public transport options available. More travel details will be provided to students and parents before the Carnival. Primary students will be bused to and from the College on College buses or may be dropped off and collected from the venue by arrangement.
Please note that Students will not have access to the GESAC Kiosk. De La Salle VCAL students will operate a BBQ throughout the Carnival. Drinks will also be available. There will be a small cost associated with these, with proceeds going towards Mission Action Day. Students are encouraged to bring their own snacks and a drink bottle.
Students are to wear their House Sports top and Physical Education uniform. Students are advised to arrive with their bathers under their Physical Education uniform and to bring a hat and sunscreen.

Musical Instrument Tuition
If your son wishes to learn a musical instrument or voice at school, please call Ms Susan Jost (Music Administrator) on 9508 2136 or email music@delasalle.vic.edu.au. Lessons can start mid-semester, on a pro-rata basis.
