Parent Network News
The Parent Network will continue to focus on building a sense of community throughout De La Salle College in 2020 by providing regular opportunities for parents to socialise, connect and participate in College activities.
First Day Morning Tea
The first Parent Network event for 2020 was held on Thursday 30 January in the Gym, with over 150 new and Year 7 parents attending the First Day Morning Tea. It was a great start to the year, with a lovely morning tea of fruit, cakes, biscuits, tea, coffee and juice.
Thank you to the following people who made the event a great success:
- Mrs Angela Carlino for organising the event, including the morning tea, RSVPs, name tags, set up, volunteers, etc
- A small but enthusiastic group of volunteers who helped set up, greet parents and clean up after the event
- Mrs Lynda Exell, representing our Year 7 YLRs
- The Maintenance Team for setting up the gym and tidying away the tables and urns
Year 7 Parent Welcome
A reminder that the all Year 7 Parents are invited to the Year 7 Welcome Evening in The Peppercorn Café tonight, Thursday 13 February at 7:30pm. This is always a great way to meet other Year 7 parents as well as the Year 7 College staff. We look forward to seeing you there!
Trivia Night 2020
The De La Salle College Parent Network Trivia Night is back in 2020 by popular demand! Save the date — Saturday 1 August — for what is sure to be an entertaining evening. More details to follow.
