Kinnoull Campus Years 10 - 12
“It’s great to be back Sir!” Many comments like this have been uttered by students since their return to the new school year. Staff have also observed how refreshed the students look after their summer break. There is a genuine feeling of excitement and anticipation about the year ahead.

Much has already happened at Kinnoull during the first week back. The Year 12 student House Leaders and their House Coordinators facilitated a formal House induction for our new Year 7 students. Each Year 7 student received his House badge. A proud moment for all involved, especially for our newest members of the De La Salle community who are now a formal member of their House for the next six years!

Wellbeing House meetings have taken place, ably led by the House Coordinators. New staff and students were introduced and student reminders about College expectations were presented and reaffirmed. I would like to take this opportunity to thank parents for ensuring that their son presented this week in accordance to the College uniform expectations.
|
The House Athletics Carnival takes place tomorrow (12 Feb) at Lakeside Park, MSAC. During extended Wellbeing time, student House Leaders used this opportunity to sign students up for events, create new chants and plot the downfall of other rival Houses! All is in place for what should be a fantastic day on Friday.

There are many other wellbeing programs and House activities that commenced this week. These include the roll out of the new personal development program (GROW) and House lunch time actives program. Updates on these to follow in the coming weeks ahead.

A reminder to parents that Period 1 now starts at 8.40am. It is therefore strongly recommended that your son arrive no later than 8.30am in order to be ready and prepared for his first lesson for the day. Students who arrive after 8.40am will be required to sign in at the Kinnoull front office.
