Year 9 Art Drawing Online
To assist students with acquiring some more Art skills and improve their competence with techniques, I set up several PowerPoint presentations directing the students in differing drawing techniques and materials. Continuing our exploration of Picasso, students selected one of his works as a reference as we explored shading, hatching with fineliner and later applying colour theory with texta colours. Students were asked to email me photos of their work to give feedback and I was very impressed with the outcomes. The works were great, however, the quality of the photographs didn’t do the works justice.

Our very own Dee Houlihan, the College’s Marketing Manager, was invited into our Teams Meeting and gave the class a very comprehensive and user friendly tutorial on how best to photograph and present art works, skills that the students were able to immediately apply and will be useful in so many aspects of their futures.
