Sport Weekly Wrap Up
COVID-19 spoiled this week of senior ACC sport however, we look back on last week's
ACC matches.

De La Salle bowled first and had St Bernard’s cleaned up for 74 in a very short and sharp fashion. A couple of wickets from Childs and Stacey put De La Salle in good stead, as well as a wicket from Welling and Tyquin who both bowled well. De La Salle then batted and made the runs quickly without any troubles. Our highest run getter was Francis with 27.

St Bede’s batting first put a nice total up of 132, however, the 3 wickets from Neaves was this week's talk. De La Salle going into bat fell slightly short again by 7 runs this time. Another close loss for the team, but we are improving each week. Runs from Liakakos, getting 39.

The A’s had a nice win against St. Bernard’s winning 2 sets to 1. With Dylan Sauer with a Best on Performance for the ages.

Final score: De La Salle 2-68 Def Bernard’s 1-71.

It didn’t work the same for the B’s who were carted 3 sets to 0 were. Hard to put a best in for the team as the final score was: De La Salle 0-32 DEF BY 3-65.

A valiant effort by the players this week couldn’t get us over the line against Parade College, although some nice wins by; Will Ashton, Tom Andrewartha and Henry Moore.

Final score: Parade College 9-83 Def De La Salle 3-40.

We are back on for ACC next week, However all teams have bye’s except for volleyball. So let’s go out there and get that win!
