Faith and Mission

As the Term draws to a close, it is easy to sit and reflect on emotions of feeling lost, disconnected and isolated when many of us have spent so much time locked down at home, away from friends and loved ones.

Disconnection, separation, isolation and remoteness, whatever it is we choose to call it, all cause a sense of confusion, pain and emptiness.

It is easy to lose hope and to feel lost when our freedom is taken from us. But hope is not lost. As Christians, we are people of hope and in our Christian tradition, we find freedom in hope and truth. Our hope and truth is Jesus and our relationship with Him.

During the Term break, I invite you all to find a quiet moment in your day or week to pause and pray. What is it that you are seeking from Jesus? What is your hope and truth?
