This week we are back into the ACC Season after another short hiatus due to lockdown. Although the Year 7 and 8s haven’t made it onto the court pitch or tables yet, they are rearing to go this Thursday. After a big week of practice, coaches are now getting ready to see what the teams can produce.

All three Year 7 sides are up against St. Bede’s. The St. Bede’s teams are strong in many sports so it’s a must win for all our Year 7 teams. With the season reduced to four weeks, each game has massive significance if the teams want to play in the finals.

The Year 8s are also excited to get out there for their first game of the season as they all tackle Simonds College at home. Andrew Kearns, Year 8 Basketball coach, says picking his two teams has been extremely tough due to the strong talent across the board. He believes the team has great potential and is excited to be playing at home with the support of the Year 7s and 8s.

Senior Hockey looks to back up its 4-0 performance this week as they play St. Bede’s at home. They looked extremely confident in their first win and we hope they can keep it up. They are led by star captain, Xavier Fernandez, who impresses everyone who watches.
