Tiverton Campus Years 5 - 8

Over the course of the first few weeks at school, Year 5 to 8 students have had Year Level assemblies focusing on the qualities of a Tiverton De La Salle Student. The Student Wellbeing Team in 2020 created these qualities in the hope all students aspire to these while learning at the Tiverton Campus.

They are:
  • Students are committed and have a sense of purpose to the pursuit of excellence
  • Students are organised, know how to learn and have a willingness to learn
  • Students are resilient and will develop a growth mindset to be able to learn from failure
    and challenges
  • Students understand themselves through their strengths and weaknesses
  • Students are connected and have a sense of belonging and community and understand the importance of brotherhood
  • Students are passionate and confident
  • Students are empathetic, mindful, grounded and calm
  • Students are respectful to women, to themselves, their peers, families and the
    wider community
  • Students are healthy, positive and optimistic and have a sense of hope for the future
Throughout the first few weeks at school we have elected our Tiverton Captains for 2021 who we hope are the role models for the qualities stated above. We will be presenting their badges at a Tiverton Assembly on Thursday 25 February from 9.30am and we wish them well for their leadership positions this year.
