Sports Report
On Monday 8 November, the Northern Golf Club hosted the 2021 ACC Junior Golf Tournament. We went into the day led by De La Salle College staff member, Luke Kenealy, on a lovely sunny day, perfect for golf! The squad of eight competed hard all day and achieved a great feat ending in second place! Emmanuel College proved too strong for our team on the day and they had a very deserving win.

Elliot Pickering and Zac Barling had great days on the course both finishing with a total stoke count of 89. They led the team from start to finish and stayed strong all day. Pat Russell also had a great day ending on 91 after finishing course. To round out our best four was Will McCormack who took 102 strokes to finish the course. A great effort by all four of these players.

All students should be really proud of their efforts on the day and should be really happy with the second place in the tournament. Hopefully next year we can go one better and finish the tournament on top.
