Sports Report
Last week we held a “one game friendly” with St. Joseph’s Ferntree Gully with the Year 7 and 8 classes.
|
Whilst the Year 7s travelled out to Ferntree Gully to compete in tennis, volleyball and cricket, the Year 8s played home games against St Joeys.
|
Year 7 volleyball had tremendous success as both 7As and Bs won 3 sets to 0 in crushing victories. This has them excited for Term 4, 2022.
|
The 7As won 25-18, 25-12, 28-26 in which they played as a team and each student contributed to the win.
|
Due to their friendly nature we didn’t keep scores for all the games, however, the coach’s feedback was that all games were very competitive and played in great spirits.
|
We would like to thank the students for their patience and understanding during these challenging times and we are glad we were able to accommodate a game this Term.
|
The feedback from the students has been wonderful. They are very excited for next year’s sport and cannot wait represent their College.
