The Lasallian Staff Award
Each year, the Lasallian Staff Award is awarded to staff in recognition of their commitment to Lasallian Education. Staff are nominated by their peers and the award is not presented to staff for years of service to the College, but rather for consistent and visible dedication and demonstration of the Five Core Lasallian Principles through various aspects of their work.

This year, we recognised and celebrated four staff on the last day of Term 3 for their commitment and service to their work. Congratulations to the following staff: David Happ, Janet Holden, Chris Martin and Sandy Wreford.

Social Justice Statement 2021-22 - “Cry of the Earth, Cry of the Poor”
The Australian Catholic Bishops Conference (ACBC), Social Justice Statement 2021–22 Cry of the Earth, Cry of the Poor encourages us to accept Pope Francis’ invitation towards ecological sustainability.

This year, the Statement focuses on building the theological foundations of caring for our common home and our human family. I encourage you to read the statement here.

National Day of Sorrow and Promise
The National Day of Sorrow and Promise emerged to acknowledge survivors of abuse within the Catholic Church and all those who have been hurt by that abuse. Underpinning this, is a clear promise for a better, safer future.

Next week during Mentor time, students will be led in a short liturgy to remember the pain of all those who have been betrayed and hurt.

As a Catholic College, we are committed to ensuring the protection and safety of all young people attending our school, while respectfully acknowledging aspects of our past. It is our hope that we can continue to be an exemplar of Child Safety in our community as we move into the future.
