Forty Years Ago: Success in a new sport! 1980
|
In 1977 the interestingly named sport of Rogaining was introduced. This sport is similar to Orienteering in certain aspects, but has an element of high endurance and tactics to score points over a 24 hour period – the ultimate “brain and brawn” working together competition. The young men in this photo were the two senior teams in 1980 who came first and third in the Victorian Championships at Ravenswood.
