From the Health Centre

COVID-19
The Department of Health continues to advise to monitor for coronavirus symptoms. COVID-19 symptoms include fever, chills or sweats, runny nose, sore throat, cough, shortness of breath and loss or change in sense of smell or taste. Some people may also experience headache, muscle soreness, stuffy nose, nausea, vomiting and diarrhoea.

If your son is experiencing even the slightest of symptoms, he is advised to get tested and isolate whilst awaiting his test results. His test results must be provided to the Health Centre via email.

If your son presents to school unwell, he will be sent to his respective campus sick bay and you will be requested to collect your son. He will not be permitted to make his own way home on public transport.

If your son or a family member is being tested for COVID-19 and awaiting results, please advise me via email.

Infectious Diseases
Please inform the College if your son is diagnosed by a Doctor with an infectious illness.

A member of our school community is receiving medical treatment which places him at serious risk if he develops infections such as chicken pox, measles, shingles or mumps. Please let the Health Centre know immediately if your son develops chicken pox, shingles or measles. Other infectious diseases can also affect medical management of students. The health and wellbeing of our students depends on us sharing information.
