Student Wellbeing
The Australian Childhood Foundation’s Safeguarding Children Services are designed to help organisations build their capacity to keep children safe from abuse and exploitation by employees and volunteers. Their approach, tools and training have been drawn from over 12 years of research as well as their experience in working with children and young people and organisations across sectors seeking to strengthen their own child-safe policies and systems.

The Australian Childhood Foundation have supported us with evidence-based resources and processes that have helped De La Salle College meet its compliance obligations and strengthen our culture that embodies a commitment to the protection of children and young people.

The College currently holds Safeguarding Children accreditation with the Australian Childhood Foundation, one of only a handful of schools to do so.
