Congratulations to the musicians of De La Salle, who performed so expertly in last Wednesday’s Autumn Ensemble Concert.

In the words of our Peter Houlihan, College Principal:

There were eleven ensembles on show, most of which performed two numbers each over about 90 minutes – all to an outstandingly high quality.
|
The Music staff have done an extraordinary job in raising the level of confidence and competence of our musicians of all ages/Year Levels. These concerts really are very enjoyable, as evidenced by the packed house in the PAC.
|
Thank you and well done to all involved. It is great to see not just the very high quality of musicianship, but the sheer enjoyment and wonderful collaboration between students and staff to put on such an excellent performance.

The next Ensembles concert will be the Winter Concert on Thursday 11 August.
