On Friday 8 April 2022, our students gathered at Basil Street Oval in East Malvern in preparation for a 13km walk along Gardiner’s Creek Trail.

Shave Dave for Breast Cancer Network Australia (BCNA)
On Thursday 19 May, the Year 11 and 12 VCAL students are raising funds for Breast Cancer Australia through a Shave Dave event at the Kinnoull Oval.

Competitive Reading
During Term 1, we started a tradition of asking students to record books, not including set novels, which they have finished and displayed these on our wall.

The Year 7 Lord Somers Camp held at the end of Term 1 was a wonderful and adventurous experience for our students.

I was going through a box of rare books before the Easter break and came across Everyday Knowledge in Pictures which had been given by Br Jerome to OC John Gill in 1945 for coming 1st Place in Matriculation class – Chemistry.
