Year 7 Science
|
This year our Year 7 students are so happy to be able to maximise use of the Rheims Centre and engage in Science practicals. In Term 2 Chemistry, we looked at solutions and different levels of concentration using food dyes in water. Here the students are showing their dilute, moderate concentration and high concentration solutions.

In Term 3, we commenced a Physics unit on forces and students were engaged in measuring forces by adding small weights to increase the force on an elastic band.
|
|
|
Students are thoroughly enjoying their Science topics and showing their capacity to be safe and responsible in the laboratory. Exposure to different branches of science at this level allows them to expand their knowledge and understanding in these fields. Experiencing different Science units allows them to better choose which ones to specialise in when they reach senior school.
