Student Wellbeing
Thursday 8 September saw the De La Salle College community acknowledge R U OK? Day, an important initiative in the promotion and discussion of mental health. R U OK? encourages people to stay connected and have conversations that can help others through difficult times in their lives. The day focuses on building the motivation, confidence and skills of the help-giver – the person who can have a meaningful conversation with someone who is struggling with life.

As a College, we took time out to come together on the Kinnoull oval, with music, a BBQ and House activities such as tug of war. Students were given the time and space to chat, to check in and to ask each other ‘R U OK?’.
