Respectful Relationships Forum
On Monday 5 September, eight Year 10 and 11 House leaders attended Avila College to participate in a Respectful Relationship Forum. The forum was a great experience where we talked about gender, stereotypes and respect in our own school. We also heard about challenges that other schools faced in this area. We worked collaboratively with students from the other schools to begin finding solutions to these issues.

By the end of the day, we began work on a project which will be run by the students with support from teachers and implemented into the school. The forum was a great opportunity to put the issues in the school into perspective and take action on the change in thinking around gender and respect that we want to see in the school.
