2023 Year Level Representatives

We are looking for Year Level Representatives to help organise opportunities to bring parents from their Year Level together. If you are interested in taking on this important role for 2023 or would like more information about what is involved, please contact us via email.

As I conclude my final Parent Network report, I have been reflecting on the past eight years of my involvement with the Committee and nine as a parent at the College. I joined the Committee in Benjamin’s second year at the College and as a Year 5 parent, having returned to Melbourne relatively recently from living interstate and knowing very few other parents at the College.

Over these eight years I have learned many things during my time on the Parent Network including how to use TryBooking, chair an AGM on Zoom when the audio stops working, estimate how many beers will be consumed on a hot February evening by new Year 7 parents, pack goody bags with donated soaps, string up fairy lights and so much more.

Most importantly my involvement in the Parent Network has provided me with the opportunity to meet many people from the College community including parents across all Year Levels, teachers, College staff and some amazing students. I am so grateful that some of these people have become wonderful friends, friendships that I am confident will last beyond my time on the Parent Network Committee.

I encourage you to get involved and take up the opportunities offered by the Parent Network and the College generally. There is much to be gained by all in being an active part of this community.
