Health Report

Covid is still an ongoing concern. We ask that parents and students make themselves familiar with the recommendations outlined below that were published in a recent MACS Covid Safe Plan.
  • It is strongly recommended that any person who exhibits COVID-like symptoms conduct a RAT Test
  • It is strongly recommended that students/staff who test positive for COVID-19 should stay home and isolate for five days
  • If still symptomatic after five days students/staff should not attend school
  • Students/staff who are symptomatic but have not tested positive should not attend school
  • Where students become symptomatic at school, they should be collected by their parents/carers and undergo testing for COVID-19
    Masks
  • Staff and students who wish to wear a face mask should be supported to do so, and schools should continue to make face masks available for staff, students and visitors
  • It is recommended that masks be worn by a person who is a close contact of someone who has tested positive for COVID-19, when leaving home
  • It is recommended that masks should be worn by a person who has COVID-19 for 10 days after a positive test, when they need to leave home
  • Further information on mask wearing recommendations:

De La Salle has a supply of RATS available for our students. Your son may collect RATs from their campus reception or the Health Centre.
