MACS - St Patrick’s Day Mass
The St Patrick's Day Mass is a part of the MACS Catholic Education Week celebrations. It is an opportunity for all Catholic schools in the Archdiocese of Melbourne to celebrate their Catholic identity, the pivotal role they play within their local community and the strength of the sector.

The theme this year was ‘Forming lives of faith, hope and love in the light of Christ’. This theme seeks to highlight and celebrate that Catholic education fosters a formation of the whole person and that all are encouraged to flourish with the virtues to live life as transformative agents in our communities. And ultimately, In Catholic education, Christ is our inspiration, and we recognise that everything is illuminated by this.

Student leaders who represented the college at the St Patrick’s Day Mass this year were the Year 12 Lasallian Captains; Luke Bosnich, Max Higginbotham, Liam Stacey and James Valcanas. And the Year 8 Tiverton Captains; Ben Marchesani, Heath Ryan and Charles Skehill. It was a remarkable celebration to be gathered with all the other Catholic schools in the Archdiocese and to listen to Archbishop Peter Comensoli preside over the occasion. A true highlight was also having the opportunity to meet and have a photo with, old collegian of De La Salle, the Most Reverend Bishop Tony Ireland.
