Student Wellbeing

Term 1 at De La Salle College has been vibrant, exciting and fast paced, with our students being involved in College wide activities such as the House Athletics and Swimming, Battle of the Bands and MAD Day.

Our College Leaders have been involved in Lasallian leadership training, as well as High Performance Leadership coaching with former St Kilda player Nathan Burke. The Year 10 students have been involved in social dancing with Star of the Sea, and the Year 7s and Year 12s have been on camp.

The College’s GROW Wellbeing program has seen students across the College focus on topics such as ‘Building a Growth Mindset’, ‘Identity’, ‘Respectful Relationships’ and Organisation’, with a range of guest speakers ensuring students are engaged and passionate about their wellbeing.
As we come to the end of a busy term, it is time to focus on time with family and friends, and the celebration of Easter. I urge all in our community to reflect on what they are grateful for, and to rest and recharge for a busy Term 2.
