De La Salle College

Mission Action Day 2018

On Mission Action Day (MAD for short), students from De La Salle College, Malvern conduct an annual walk-a-thon to raise money for the poor and marginalised where the De La Salle Brothers are working.

The walk will be about 13km along the Gardiners Creek walking track in a loop extending from Kooyong to East Malvern.

The money raised will go to aid missionary projects in countries throughout Asia and PNG. The Brothers operate in Australia, India, Myanmar, Pakistan, Philippines, Papua New Guinea, Cambodia, Vietnam and Thailand. The College has particular relationships with PNG and India where our students visit to engage in construction work to help the local communities. Most of these programs are about educating, feeding, housing and helping these poorer communities.

It really does make a difference! Please, help us to help them!

Mission Action Day — Thursday 29 March 2018

Sponsorship money can be paid:
