De La Salle College

Safeguarding Children Accreditation

De La Salle College had a busy start to 2019, which included the opening of our new, dedicated Year 9 Campus. But despite the hustle and bustle, our commitment to the safety of children remains a clear priority.

The College’s commitment has been acknowledged through De La Salle’s successful accreditation as a Safeguarding School, by the Australian Childhood Foundation. The Accreditation Program is a voluntary organisational development accreditation scheme. Over five phases, it offers independent validation of internal systems for protecting children and young people. This scheme is endorsed by the ACCC.

De La Salle is one of only 40 organisations to achieve accreditation. Furthermore, we are one of only three schools in Victoria to be accredited.
