Kinnoull Campus
Year 10 - 12

Personal Development – GROW Program:
During a recent Year 10 Personal Development session, the Year 10 cohort engaged in the topic of Character Strengths. Developed by Dr Martin Seligman and Dr Christopher Peterson, Character Strengths and Virtues is regarded as the foundation of the science of positive psychology. During the session, students were given opportunities to reflect and unpack their personalised Character Strengths and Virtues survey results completed in 2020. Students came to understand that their individual Character Strengths can be used to help build resilience and buffer against the negative effects of stress. The benefits of using Character Strengths enables students to amplify the positive in their life. By amplifying and growing the positive from within, students are better equipped to deal with self-acceptance, autonomy, goal progress, physical health, passion and resilience.

Kinnoull library after school:
With semester one exams only three weeks away, students are reminded that the Kinnoull library is open Monday - Thursday until 6pm and on Fridays till 5pm. Supervised by senior teachers across key learning areas, students can access staff whilst working in small study bubble teams. Kinnoull students are encouraged to access this facility in the coming weeks.
