Year 5 - 8
It has been a busy and productive start to the school year with students returning to the Tiverton Campus combined with the Primary Meet and Greet sessions, as well as Year 7 and 8 Information Nights.

Primary School Years 5 and 6
|
It is with much excitement that we welcome 80 students to the De La Salle Year 5 and 6 Primary School. With four classes, three new teaching staff members (Sharon Bourke, Laura Brough and Robin Lennon) and new facilities in the renovated Duffy Building, students came to school excited and energised for the big year ahead.

Year 5 and 6 parents also attended the Meet and Greet sessions in order to see the Primary classrooms and meet with teachers to outline each individual students' goals for the coming year. We look forward to the Primary School Welcome BBQ on Thursday 17 February from 5:00 pm. Here is the invitation.

Our Year 7 students also started the new year with excitement by obtaining their computers, meeting their class mentors and teaching staff, and having their first Year Level assembly to start the year.
|
The emphasis in both Year 7 and 8 is to be organised and structured in order to be successful and to perform at your best. We also want the students to show grit and endeavor in their studies and their extra-curricular activities as part of an approach to develop a strong work ethic.
|
Lastly, we want all students to become good respectful young men and we believe this starts with themselves with their appearance, language and attitude, as well as their behavior on public transport and in the wider school and local community.
