Tiverton Campus
Year 5 - 8

MAD Fundraising
All Year 5 to 8 students have been busily fundraising for Mission Action Day which occurs on Friday 8 April. Last week, students were encouraged to buy and wear crazy socks at the Tiverton Campus and receive a donut and a drink for their donation. The Tiverton Campus raised over $1,200 over the course of the day and students had a lot of fun wearing casual clothes and raising awareness for such an important day on the College calendar.

Many thanks to Sharon Bourke and the Year 6 students for setting up the stalls at lunchtime and truly showing that De La Salle spirit of community and connection. We continue to encourage all students and families to donate to Mission Action Day so we can reach our target of $100,000. The money raised goes to those less fortunate in our global and local community.

Student absences and early pick up times
As you can imagine it has been a challenging and complex Term with COVID-19 and getting back into normal school life in 2022 for everyone at De La Salle. Unfortunately, we have had many parents arrive at the school unannounced to collect their child which is not our process or procedure.

Please ensure moving forward into Term 2 that all families call the College on (03) 9508 2100 if you wish to pick your son up early. Also, if you know your son will be absent from the College please refer to OLLIE regarding notification of this advance absence.
