Earlier in the term, our Year 9 students headed to the Mt Baw Baw and Thomson River region for their Expedition experience as part of the WISE Program.
It was a great chance for students to get outdoors, try something different and build independence, resilience and teamwork along the way. Through hiking, camping and taking on new challenges, students learnt a lot about themselves and the importance of supporting one another.
Students also shared their learning at the Year 9 Expo Evening, where families had the opportunity to see some of the experiences, projects and highlights from the WISE Program.
It has been a big term for Year 9, with plenty of opportunities to grow in confidence, connect with others and take on new challenges.
