With an emphasis on consolidating core knowledge, skills and understanding, our curriculum enables students to develop a deep sense of themselves, others and the wider world.
De La students are supported and challenged all the way from the small family environment in Years 5 – 6, where there is one class in each year level, to the larger cohorts of Years 7 and 8. In Year 9, student learning is focussed on solving real‐world problems, developing teamwork and independence. At Year 10, students are encouraged to explore the diverse academic options, with a view to selecting the best pathway through VCE or VCAL at Years 11 and 12.
We know that every student learns differently. That’s why our Specialised Programs, including Accelerated, Gift and Talented Education and Education Support programs and services, enable all students to reach their potential.
