Music Tour hits the front page in Rushworth

De La Salle College’s 2026 Music Tour has struck a chord in regional Victoria, earning front-page coverage in the Waranga News following the College’s performance at Rushworth Shire Hall.

The performance showcased the breadth of our College’s Music program, featuring instrumental ensembles, choir performances and original compositions. Crowd favourites included energetic renditions of Golden from K-Pop Demon Hunters and Michael Jackson’s Bad, with students enthusiastically singing along.

The performance concluded on a memorable high, with visiting students and performers joining together for a lively conga line through the hall.

The Rushworth concert formed part of De La Salle College’s annual Winter Regional Music Tour, which brings students from Years 7 to 12 together for four days of performances and workshops across regional Victoria. The tour provides our young musicians with valuable performance experience while sharing the joy of live music with local school communities.

Seeing the talent, enthusiasm and teamwork of our students recognised on the front page was a wonderful conclusion to another memorable Music Tour.
