Our College community gathered at St Patrick’s Cathedral, East Melbourne, for the Opening Mass, a significant moment that brings staff, students and families together in faith at the beginning of the year.
Celebrated by Fr Michael Gallacher, the Mass provided an opportunity to pause, reflect and place the year ahead in God’s hands. It also marked a special occasion as Principal Michael Illott formally addressed the community for the first time, sharing his hopes for the year and his vision for the continued growth of the College.
The evening was a powerful reminder of the faith foundation that underpins life at De La Salle and the importance of coming together as one community. It was wonderful to see so many families in attendance as we marked the beginning of the year.
We look forward to all that lies ahead as we continue to grow, learn and serve together as a Lasallian community..
