De La Salle College Malvern proudly celebrates the outstanding VCE achievements of the Class of 2025. These exceptional results reflect the dedication, resilience and ambition of our students, supported by the expertise and care of our teachers and the strong partnership we share with families across our community.

This cohort began their secondary schooling in 2020, a year defined by the unprecedented challenges of COVID-19. Their success in 2025 stands as a powerful testament to their character, perseverance and ability to remain focused on excellence in the face of adversity. It also highlights the strength of a learning environment that supports, challenges and believes in every young man.

Outstanding performance

  • College Dux ATAR 99.80 – Emmanuel Ganas
  • Median Study Score of 32, equal highest on record and well above the Victorian state average of 30
  • Median ATAR of 74.5
  • 19 percent of students achieving an ATAR of 90 or above
  • 37 percent achieving an ATAR of 80 or above
  • 51 percent of students received their first preference for tertiary studies in the December first round offers – the highest 1st round percentage in years

5 perfect study scores

Five perfect Study Scores of 50 across Physics, Mathematical Methods, Geography, Legal Studies and Business Management. A perfect VCE study score of 50 is achieved by approximately 0.3 percent of students statewide in each subject, highlighting the exceptional nature of this achievement.

We welcome boys from across Melbourne, without residential boundaries or selective entry requirements.
