De La Salle College student, Cian O’Flynn, recently represented Victoria at the Football Australia National Youth Championships in Wollongong.
The National Youth Championships are a crucial part of Football Australia’s talent identification program and have been a key stepping-stone for many current Matildas and Subway Socceroos players.
54 teams and over 1,000 players and officials from Australia’s nine State and Territory Member Federations competed in Wollongong, with scouts and National Team Selectors watching closely.
