On 4 February 1912 the founding brothers of De La Salle College, Brothers Dunstan Drumm, Leopold Loughran and Jerome Foley, arrived in Melbourne from Ireland on the German ship The Frederick der Grosse. They started classes at the Stanhope Street Campus of the College the next day with a school population of 54 students.
In 2012 we will remember that historic day with the official launch of the De La Salle Centenary at the College’s Tiverton Campus.
