Out of Uniform Day

21 March, 2014

The College will hold an “Out of Uniform Day” for the year will be held on Friday, 21 March.

The aim of this event is to support Mission Action Day fundraising.  Students are asked to make a gold coin donation if they choose to wear casual clothes on Friday. This will be collected at the start of the day by the Homeroom Teacher. Money raised from this activity will be added to the Mission Action Day “pool of money” to support the on-going charitable work by the College in less fortunate Lasallian communities. In this way what starts out as a small gesture of generosity by De La Salle College students can have a significant impact on the lives of many less fortunate people. All students are urged to support this initiative.

Students are reminded of the following guidelines for casual clothes on Friday, 21 March.

  1. Clothing with offensive words, slogans etc is not to be worn
  2. Thongs are not to be worn for OH&S reasons.
  3. Students are advised that appropriate “closed” footwear must be worn to technology, science and sport classes.
  4. Students are to bring sports uniform if they have sport on Friday.
