2026 Master Plan

The Future Is Taking Shape

2026 marks a bold new chapter for De La Salle College Malvern.

We’re proud to launch Stage 1 of our transformative Master Plan, reimagining our campuses to enhance learning, wellbeing and connection across Years 7–12.

Stage 1 introduces a purpose-built Year 9 Precinct at our Kinnoull Campus, featuring new science labs and contemporary spaces for digital and food technology, tailored to meet the needs of boys at this pivotal stage. It also includes a major landscaping upgrade to the north-east corner of the Tiverton Campus on High Street Malvern, creating vibrant outdoor spaces that support both learning and community.

As we move from three campuses to two, students will experience a more streamlined, connected journey through secondary school, confident, supported and empowered to realise their full potential.

What’s next: Stage 2

We are already planning for what comes next.

Stage 2 of our Master Plan will further enhance our facilities, including targeted refurbishments to existing buildings, building on our recently upgraded classrooms across both campuses. We will continue to strengthen key areas such as Performing Arts, Indoor Sport and VCE, alongside ongoing investment in our onsite Vocational pathways.

Our focus remains clear. Creating purposeful learning environments where every student can grow, progress and confidently shape his pathway. This commitment sits at the heart of our pursuit of academic excellence.

Please note: Stage 2 plans remain subject to refinement and final approval.

What has happened to the former Primary campus?

We no longer offer primary year levels as of the end of 2025. The space has been thoughtfully repurposed to enhance senior learning at our Tiverton Campus. Students have transitioned to our secondary model, with Years 7–8 at Kinnoull, Year 9 at Holy Eucharist (until the end of 2025), and Years 10–12 at Tiverton. We remain proud of the strong foundation our primary years provided.

What’s changing with the campuses?

We’ve moved from three campuses to two:

  • Years 7–8 will be at Kinnoull campus and Years 10–12 will be located at Tiverton campus.
  •  Year 9 now has its own dedicated space at Kinnoull campus, designed just for them, with a specialised curriculum and environment.
What’s special about the new Year 9 Precinct?

Year 9 is a critical year in a boy’s journey. Our new precinct offers:

  • A space just for Year 9 students
  • A real-world, future-focused curriculum
  • Opportunities for leadership, independence and personal growth
How will this benefit my son?

Your son will experience:

  • Teaching tailored to boys’ learning needs
  • A stronger sense of identity and community
  • A more streamlined, consistent journey through Years 7–12
  • Enhanced opportunities in sport, the arts, leadership and career readiness
When does the change take effect?

The new model began in Term 1, 2026.
