Triumphant at the VCE Mathematics Association of Victoria Games Day

Congratulations to our students who proudly placed 4th at this year’s VCE Maths Games Day, hosted by the Mathematics Association of Victoria. Competing against a range of schools across Victoria, our students demonstrated outstanding problem-solving skills, teamwork, and spirit.

Maths Games Day is designed to extend high-ability students through a fun, challenging and collaborative competition grounded in the Victorian Curriculum. Teams of four students (with a maximum of two teams per school) compete in tasks that reward creativity, accuracy, efficiency, and group contribution.

Here are the top 5 results:

1st: Melbourne High School (Team B) – 505 pts

2nd: Trinity Grammar School (Team A) – 425 pts

3rd: The MacRobertson Girls High School (Team A) – 420 pts

4th: De La Salle College Malvern (Team B) – 340 pts

5th: Trinity Grammar School (Team B) – 325 pts

A fantastic achievement and a proud moment for De La Salle College — well done, boys!
