It has been a vibrant and meaningful term for our Year 7 students, with many opportunities to connect, reflect, perform, compete and contribute to the wider College community.
Our Year 7 Reflection Days provided students with valuable time to pause and consider their transition into secondary school. Through discussion, activities and shared experiences, students reflected on friendship, belonging, respect and the importance of living out our Lasallian values each day.
The Mother’s Day Breakfast was another special moment in the term, bringing families together in celebration and gratitude. It was wonderful to see so many Year 7 students sharing the morning with their mothers, grandmothers and significant women in their lives.
Students also enjoyed the Autumn Music Ensemble, which showcased the talent, dedication and growing confidence of our young musicians. Events such as these provide an important opportunity for students to step forward, support one another and celebrate the creative life of the College.
Founders Day was a highlight of the term, with Year 7 students taking part in one of the College’s most significant celebrations. The day was a powerful reminder of our Lasallian story and the values that continue to shape who we are as a community.
This spirit of service was also evident through the Push-Up Challenge, with students raising awareness and funds for Lifeline. It was inspiring to see so many students getting involved, encouraging each other and contributing to an important cause.
Our Year 7 students also represented the College with enthusiasm during the Lightning Premierships. Whether competing on the field, supporting teammates or showing great sportsmanship, the day was a wonderful example of energy, teamwork and College pride.
As we look back on the term, we are proud of the way our Year 7 students have embraced new opportunities and continued to grow in confidence, character and connection.
