This year marks an exciting new chapter for our Year 9 program, with students now based onsite in the new WISE Building.
The transition has been a great success, with students benefitting from spacious, purpose-built classrooms and specialist facilities. Areas such as Food Technology, STEM and Science are already in full use, with Food Technology a particular highlight through hands-on, practical learning experiences.
In Term 2, the WISE Expedition will provide an important opportunity for students to build independence, embrace challenge and strengthen connections with their peers.
A continued focus on mental health and wellbeing remains central to the Year 9 experience. The Man Cave program will once again form part of the curriculum, supporting students to develop emotional intelligence, build resilience and better understand themselves and others.
